Sustainable  Renewable  Ecological  Educational

When and Where:
June 7th, 8th & 9th 2013

Bastrop Convention and Exhibit Center
1408 Chestnut Street Bastrop, Texas 78602

Overview:

The 2012 Heart of Texas Green Expo was a success!  The survey responses gave really high marks, and our organization made enough money to carry out additional educational and service activities for the coming year.As a result, the Board of KBCB has decided to do it again in 2013 in partnership with Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative.

We’ve reserved the Convention Center for Friday, June 7th, Saturday the 8th, and Sunday the 9th.  Friday will again highlight presentations by knowledgeable individuals who represent state of the art practices in sustainable use of resources.   The educational presentations will be continued on Saturday and Sunday.

Sponsors and Exhibitors will set-up Friday in preparation for our grand opening mid-afternoon on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Expo will energize individuals, business and organizations seeking information, inspiration and innovation. Best of all, it will serve as a stimulus to move us in the direction of a culture that is both economically viable and ecologically sound. Our Expo is THE platform to enable your organization to reach thousands of people through our media alliances in television and radio, newspapers, billboards and educational flyers. We will advertise the Expo in multiple markets including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, and Bastrop County and through social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

Comments from Expo

Very timely info.

As a non-profit organization that had a booth…the biggest value to me was being able to walk around and talk to all the vendors. I found it very worthwhile.

Very impressive EXPO doubly so as the first one ever.

Love to participate again.

The expo was a success. The venue was a great way to get our intended message out to the public and get feedback from the attendees. The atmosphere made everyone feel very comfortable. We are planning to attend this event again.

hope y’all do it again next year. I support your efforts and loved getting to know Bastrop.

This was one of the best expo’s I’ve been to. Please keep it going, and expand coverage…

You guys did a great job… especially for your first rodeo.

Incredible vendors, some great new info.

This was a great event.

I’ll do another one! Will @ HORTAQUA AGRIHOMES
