Keynote Speaker

Nationally known radio host Betsy Rosenberg has plenty of green information for Central Texans, and she’ll be sharing it as keynote speaker at the Heart of Texas Green Expo.

“How to green your routine, and why it matters,” is the subject of Rosenberg’s presentation at the expo in Bastrop. She will speak on Saturday, June 8 at the event.

Rosenberg is host of “On the Green Front” on the Progressive Radio Network (an Internet station at www.prn.fm). She also is launching “Green-To-Go” radio features to provide quick tips that aim to have lasting impact.  e radio spots will be syndicated nationwide. She is co-founder of “Don’t Be Fueled! – Mothers for Clean and Safe Vehicles,” a campaign to increase use of fuel-e cient vehicles.

Rosenberg was a veteran of CBS Radio News and specialized in environmental reporting. A graduate of  e Climate Project, Al Gore’s training program to educate people about global warming, Rosenberg now is a regular guest on national television news programs. She calls herself a “booster for raising eco-consciousness.”
