Welcome to the Second Annual Heart of Texas Green Expo on June 7-9, 2013 at the Bastrop Texas Convention Center! Our goal is to energize individuals, businesses and other organizations by combining formal education with practical information on how to create a more sustainable, greener future. The exhibits and workshops are designed to move us in the direction of a culture that is both economically viable and ecologically sound.

Many of the 70 exhibitors and 50 speakers come from the world of organic gardening, farming and ranching.   Others represent alternative energy providers, green builders, and conservationists.

But this isn’t just about serious stuff!!  There’s a variety of live music going on, great food and fun for the kids as well.  The “Tree Man” will be back….those who saw him last year were amazed!

In 2012, over 1,500 people attended.   We expect far more in ’13.  We’re recruiting Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Vendors. The theme, as it was last year, highlights the four elements of Antiquity — Air, Water, Earth and Fire — and how they affect our lives. Our three Sponsorship Levels reflect this. The Heart of Texas Green Expo is THE platform to enable your organization to reach thousands of people through our media alliances in television and radio, social media, newspapers, billboards and educational flyers. The Expo is in Bastrop but our advertising reaches out to all of the major markets including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston.
